“My wife and I decided to go with Corbin Ladner Custom Homes after an exhausting search of houses in the Gonzales / Prairieville area. We couldn’t find any homes which stood apart or grabbed our attention until we saw one done by Corbin. We knew immediately he was the builder we were going to use to build our dream home. His attention to detail was evident from first glance. Some of the unique touches that drew us to his designs was the beautiful dirty top pine flooring, the trey cielings with wooden inserts, huge 12 x 12 cypress beams inside and out and creative tile designs in the kitchen and bathrooms.
This is the second home we have had built so we had an expectation of what the process would be like…rather painful to say the least. Corbin however was extremely easy to work with compared to our previous builder. We were kept up to date on the progress of our build and given ample time to make decisions. I was continuously impressed with Corbin’s willingness to work with us during the build process to get things just right, even if that meant changes had to be made after work was already done. All upgrades to the agreed upon plans were provided at cost which was a huge bonus allowing us to add personal touches along the way and not break our budget. All phone calls, emails and texts were returned promptly and in a proffesional manner. Corbin’s subcontractors which we were sent to to choose various details such as lighting, flooring, paint etc. were all extremely pleasant and helpful. This was greatly appreciated and took a lot of the stress out of making these very difficult choices.
I personally met with Corbin several times throughout the build process to iron out details and get things just right. This simple personal touch I felt helped alleviate any miscommunication and cut back on potential mistakes and headaches along the way. I was made to feel like I was Corbin’s only client and that my approval of his work was his top priority. Couldn’t ask for more than that. Thanks again for the beautiful home Corbin!”
